Series 50 Reed Relays: They are unique in
our industry since the construction allows a very wide variety of
switches, coils, shields, and lead exiting not usually available
with any other construction. Additionally, the epoxy with which
they are constructed is designed to expand and contract with
temperature changes to meet the coefficient of expansion of the
reed switches themselves. The epoxy is drawn into the relay
interior during construction by using a vacuum assembly method
to completely impregnate the entire relay with this special epoxy.
The end result is a reed relay to meet form, fit, and function of
any reed relay manufactured by any other manufacturer.
Insulation resistance between contact to coil can reach to the
1 times 10 to the 13th ohms resistance rather easily if required.
